Fuel Cleaning, Fuel Polishing

Fuel cleaning is important to maintain and keep fuel clean in bulk storage tanks, ensuring uninterrupted supply of clean ULSD to standby generator sets.

Fuel polishing systems re-circulate the fuel in a fuel tank on preset timers, to remove water and particulate from the diesel fuel. The system must maintain the integrity of the fuel, and prolong the life of the fuel indefinitely. Including a fuel polishing system in a complete fuel systems helps protect the longevity of the components of the system

Utilising fuel cleaning and polishing, either with one off visits or on a periodic basis, helps maintain fuel quality

To treat fuel and remove any water and contaminates, it is recirculated through a special filtration process until the fuel meets specification

This Process does not interfere with integrity of any system so there is no need to take generators off line whilst cleaning takes place. Engines can be run at any time safely during the cleaning process.

Installation of a complete fuel polishing unit/system to aid and maintain fuel quality, removing any contaminants or bacterial growth

We ca provide individual tank polishing units to portable units for small tanks, and  vent moisture trap to prevent water entering the tank.

The benefit of cleaning and polishing fuel is the reduce in maintenance costs and potential down time due to having to clean the fuel tanks internally and remove sediment, rust, water, bacterial growth, and other contaminants
